It's funny how complicated it all seemed back then.

It would be all of a year later before the world was well aware of what it was. I still have cassette singles from 1995 that feature artist and record label email addresses set up through, of all places, AOL.

LOL - I don't even know if I'd heard of Internet back in 1994. Thigns sure change fast!!!!

I think '93-'94 was when AOL commercials started to very subtly started to play on TV. By '95 it was everywhere. We were getting 3.5 floppy's sent to the house in junk mail, I remember taking one to school (before I got a PC) and trying to stick it in the disk drive of a computer in the library....thinking that getting online would be just that easy to get online. A teacher saw me try and explained that it wasn't that simple.
