I will have to say May as well. Not too hot, not too cold...perfect weather and you know summer is right around the corner. And my birthday is not too far behind.

May here in NY is the first month into summer. We very rarely have a "spring" anymore so this is the transition month and its also my birthday month 
I also like October, this is the transition month into autumn, the most beautiful time of the year with all its rustic colors and smells, its a month that you can say to yourself its wonderful to be alive.

I've been to New York in October and agree that it seemed like a good time of year for the city.
Personally, my favorite month is February. Don't ask me why. It's very cold, wet and gray but there's something interesting about it too in a "drab" sort of way. I think it's because we're finally all the way out of holiday madness that started in November.

Just being out of holiday madness is a joy to remember the month of February and appreciate it!!

I wouldn't call it my "favorite", but March is an interesting month to me. It's one of the longest months of the year, but oddly passes by very fast.

August is actually my favorite month even though it's the most brutally hot, there's also this sort of peacefulness about it too. August Sunday afternoon at about 7pm, driving. Doesn't get any more serene that that.

I vote for May too. It's warm enough to enjoy being outside and summer is still around the corner. I like the anticipation.

I chose December (but all the winter months are good)
Despite the occasional cold snap that gets down to the 40s or even upper 30s degrees, when it is warmer, it is not too warm or humid, perfect weather to hang out at the beach. (like this last Sunday)
