Hi all,
This is my all-time favorite novel. It has everything in it, sex, murder, humor. Not to mention it's notoriety. I believe it was first published in 1955, but not allowed to be published in the U.S. until 1959. The character of 12 year-old Lolita is manipulative when it comes to the 40 year-old "love struck" Humbert Humbert. I'm a big fan of the writer, Vladimir Nabokov, anyway.
Has anyone else read this? Thoughts?
