You know the moment. You're sitting someplace having a conversation with someone, and all of a sudden, it feels like there's absolutely nothing left to say. At that point do you try and come up with more small talk....or just end the conversation? If I can, I do the latter.

Depends. I really could go either way. If it was just a casual acquaintance maybe I'd try to come up with more small talk but if it's a complete stranger, I'd definitely end the conversation.

If the silence is awkward, sure. But sometimes a companionable silence is even more comfortable than talking to someone.
