...holes. Anyone in areas where it's actually been cold drive in to any craters yet? Last winter my daughter hit one that bent one of her rims in two places and wrecked the tire. Fortunately she didn’t have an accident. Also fortunately, we were able to get it fixed instead of having to buy a new one. She just has the stock wheels, nothing fancy. One cost over $700.

Mich is infamous for its bad/bumpy roads and potholes. Never actually fucked up my car, but I'm constantly cussing while I'm driving because of some bump I just hit.

Merrick Blvd used to be full of them. To the point where I would avoid driving on it. They re-paved most of it about 2 yrs ago so the worst ones aren't a problem anymore. I still don't drive there often anyway though. Too much traffic. Atlantic Ave is another road that's completely terrible. Driving on Atlantic will fuck up your car.

When my cousins drove up here from the east one of the things they commented about was how MI has terrible bumpy roads and too many potholes. Its only been in the past 5yrs or so that the state has done major road work. Its better than it used to be but could still be alot better.

Michigan roads are terrible. Robbie is right, they're not as bad as they used to be, but another ten million or so could be sunk into fixing the roads.

We have one in front of a shopping center that's been there forever. They keep raising taxes. Fix it already. Some of the roads are horrible.

Yes after all the snow we had the streets were loaded with pot holes. One main street they were working on digging it up and they had the manhole covers exposed and potholes everywhere! I started mapping different routes to drive around to avoid the streets that were messed up. There was a huge pot hole going up a ramp near where my father lives lucky I spotted it before I went into it. You should have seen all the cars parked along the road with flat tires. They filled it in but now I saw that it sunk again and they have not fixed it yet.

I also notice that the streets that were paved with cement a very long time ago still hold up and have no pot holes like the streets with black top.
