Scoops & Spoilers
Previews for the week of 07-Feb-2011
by Carol Banks Weber

  • Bo and Clint have a come-to-Jesus meeting. Without the Jesus part. You know what I mean. Bo is as mean as they come to the man formerly known as his loving, older brother.

  • John cannot shake what Marty has said to him about the secrets Natalie has kept from him.

  • After conferring with Pete (a special guest star, novelist Peter Straub), John has a better frame of mind.

  • Brody says I’m sorry to Rex for monopolizing Shane like this.

  • Brody begins to wonder what happened to John; dude should’ve arrived for the double-wedding by now.

  • Brody consents to saying nothing about having slept with Natalie that one time. Big mistake, bro.

  • Natalie unloads to Gigi all of the pent-up secrets.

  • Gigi paints a prettified picture for Natalie on this glorious day.

  • Vimal sits on some powerful information sure to do Clint major damage. He stews about whether to go public with it at Clint’s daughters’ double-wedding.

  • Natalie and Jessica prepare to enjoy their double-wedding to respective husbands John and Brody. But not without some drama. Oh, hi, Vimal!

  • Vimal proceeds to decimate Clint, revelation by revelation, ripping off the mask of false paternity, from Rex to Jessica.

  • Clint slanders Rex in his excuses for having the DNA results switched and denying his son, causing Charlie to try to beat the crap out of the elder Buchanan.

  • John, Brody, and Shaun must physically intervene to keep Charlie from throttling a smug, gloating Clint.

  • Charlie runs away from the double-wedding, feeling dejected—and thirsty.

  • Rex and Gigi chase after Charlie, emotions flooding over them.

  • Charlie beelines it to Rodi’s to toss back the alcohol, trying to forget his troubles.

  • Vimal continues with shattering news that Jessica’s newborn shares DNA with her and Robert Ford, not Brody. Jess must sit down for this to sink in.

  • Jessica implores Brody to forget Ford, Brody’s the real father in every way. Poor Jess thinks she’s gonna lose Brody over this.

  • However, guilt sinks in for Brody and he spills his guts about his one-night-stand with Natalie.

  • The bleep! finally hits the fan, with Brody and Jessica. It’s enough to tempt Tess out.

  • Jessica reacts unfavorably to news that she and Ford created new life, not she and Brody. It all then comes out about Natalie having had a secret paternity test. Brody quickly interjects that the test proved he did not sire Natalie’s child, John did.

  • John brings Natalie into another room to privately speak about what she may also be hiding.

  • John forces Natalie to stop lying about all of this. Even then, Natalie stubbornly tries to evade his questions and stonewall him.

  • Natalie will find she can’t run away from the DNA secret any longer, she must piss or get off the pot with John. He’ll be pissed too.

  • Once lying Natalie finally is forthcoming with John, it’s way too late, and he dumps her.

  • Natalie tries to turn this around on John, like it’s his deal to man up and be the baby’s daddy even if it isn’t his.

  • It doesn’t even matter what Natalie finally has to say to John – believe me, she’s dancing as fast as she can – he’s through giving her the time of day.

  • On John’s way out and away from lying Natalie, he encounters Jessica, who’s about to split into two.

  • Todd goes running to Tea and Dani with the latest gossip – Ford is Jess’s baby daddy, Nate has a nephew.

  • Dani wastes no time gossiping about the new addition with Nate.

  • Dani and Nate dish about whether Ford should be informed of this. But Ford is already in-the-know, since he’s nearby catching every shocking word.

  • Clint forces Aubrey’s and Cutter’s hand. The con couple must do everything in their power to cover up their true motive.

  • Aubrey and Cutter get a hold of the secret DVD Clint videotaped of them, doctor it to make Aubrey look good, then put it back before Clint
    knows.

  • Clint places the incriminating DVD of Aubrey/Cutter in Kelly’s hands, saying this should do the trick of getting Joey to see the light.

  • Kelly has Joey look at this damaging DVD of Aubrey with Cutter, but when he does, he sees nothing untoward, other than Aubrey proclaiming her love for her fiancé.

  • Joey scolds Kelly for spying on Aubrey with the hidden video camera, not knowing it was Clint who did that. It doesn’t look like Kelly gets a chance to correct Joey.

  • Aubrey asks Joey to marry her (fast).

  • Viki and Charlie lay aside the Echo conflict. They’re nowhere closer to resolution, but they’re tired of squawking about it.

  • Tomas shows up, blowing Blair’s mind.

  • Blair denies Tomas a visit, though, even though he makes her curiouser and curiouser.

  • Starr gears herself up to split with Cole—for both their sakes.

  • Langston nudges Starr to broadcast her split with Cole to James, ASAP.

  • Around the same time, James gets it on with Michelle.

  • James begins to feel funny, which Michelle senses and makes a note of.

  • James pushes ahead with loving on Michelle.

  • Michelle begins to take James somewhere more comfortable, the bedroom, when it’s Starr they hear on the other side of the front door.

  • Starr walks in on James and Michelle, in the middle of loving time.

  • Reading commitment and consummation into the scene before her, Starr blathers on but leaves out the part where she splits with Cole for James.

  • James may be with Michelle, but he really would rather be with Starr. Same with Starr.

  • On Friday, February 11, OLTL will not show new programming. Instead, it will show a rerun from November 14, 1995, back when the original Todd married Blair and gave her a hail of golden, raining balloons.

  • Next week: Jessica finds it hard to maintain her sense of self, literally… Brody and Natalie have a squabble… Rex means to make Clint pay… Charlie suffers from post-alcoholic remorse… Busted! Dani and Nate in the middle of--
