I went to three stores today to buy a new corn popper. None had any, and Sears told me catalog only. Doesn't anybody pop corn anymore, or does everybody eat that dry tasteless microwave popcorn? Just wondering.

I know, it's so hard to get a hot air popper anymore, we got ours off Amazon. It's still the best kind of popcorn to eat, I'll admit I do eat the microwave stuff sometimes, Pop Weaver, best microwave stuff there is, tastes like what they put in the big tins at Christmas, but it's funny for nobody selling hot air poppers anymore, there's no shortage on bags of popcorn kernals.

That's the irony of the situation. Popcorn is prominently displayed at grocery stores, but poppers are going the way of the dinosaur.

Hell yeah we do. We just use a Dutch oven or someother large pot on top of the stove. No biggie. Most microwave types are vile.

I love popcorn - the real stuff, not the bad-for-you microwavable stuff. When I got my popcorn maker, they had 3 or 4 to choose from.

I have a popcorn maker that you use in the microwave, just fill it with the kernels and pop, pop!
