One of my favorite movies as a kid. I have a copy of it on VHS. Anyone else a fan of this movie?

I LOVE this movie, I first saw it when I was 15 and have my own copy AND a copy of the novelization of it. I love it, I especially love when Mark's ranting on and on about suicide and telling his listeners go crazy, get creative, THAT, I think for teenagers would be one of the most impactive things to hear, because I don't remember any other movie or book or person or anything that said anything like he did there.

It's a good one. And they've got some great music in it.

Good movie. I remember when it used to run on cable in the 90s. A voice that the kids could relate to and identify with but the adults hated and tried to silence, Cris Slater's charac. was almost like a less tragic Cobain in radio personality form.

Oh you gotta see it, it's a great movie. It's funny, but also speaking on a level to teenagers it's really deep, and not like the John Hughes movies related to what teenagers felt, this one gets raw and real with it.

Interesting way to put it. I have the movie on tape somewhere around here, I remember renting it from the video store and dubbing it. I bet it's been almost 20 years since I watched it. But yeah the movie is good, it's got that late 80s "TV 101" vibe to it.
