I have been at my job for eight years and was always hourly, but starting in January I went to salary (and I can't explain the euphoria in that.) How about you? Are you hourly, salary or commission?

I've alway worked hourly jobs, except for one job I had which was commission, and commission completely sucks. I was making something like $6.50/hr. (less than minimum wage where I live) and had to try to sell merchandise to even get up to minimum wage. Cheapskate company.

I am hourly, unfortunately. If I miss a day or am even a little late, I will see the difference on my stub. Every little time punch matters over this way.

I’m hourly where I am now. Right now I don’t get diddly squat except a pay check. Don’t get me wrong, it beats unemployment. Technically I’m a temp but there’s a chance they may make it permanent if the work load stays the way it is.

I'm and R.N., M.S.N. and when I was a staff nurse I was hourly, but when I became Nurse Manager I went hourly. The thing that sucks about being hourly is, even if I work overtime I get the same amount, but I usually work it out it comp time.

I'm not paid in money for my work, unless you count my tie dye business and that's just me, so I get the profit. My husband is paid hourly and it's nice that he gets OT...He makes more than he would if he became a manager and was salaried, but he also works his ass off for long hours for the money...
