Quirks...

Is there anything that you do, that you know doesn't make any sense, but you just do it anyway?

Mine:
I like sugar free jello pudding cups. I like to pay 2.50 for a pack of 6, and for a lon time that's how much they were...Then one day they were 2.93. They've been 2.93 for about 9 months now and I can't bring myself to buy them! I know it's only 43 cents and I don't pay that close of attention to how much our other groceries cost, and honestly, if I bought two packs of them I seriously wouldn't notice the .86 cents on my 200 dollar grocery bill. I know this, but I STILL can't bring myself to buy them because they SHOULD cost 2.50 in my mind.

Nothing quite like that. When I play baseball, I've always done this since I was a kid, when I get ready to bat, I always hit the end of the bat against the ground three times before a throw.

Yeah kind of, as a kid I got it in my head that if I did that I'd be more likely to hit the ball, don't know how I came to that conclusion though.

My husband is a little OC, but was never formally diagnosed with the disorder. It was worse when he was a kid because he thought he was going crazy. Now he just always locks things, and is always locking him self out of things and places. He used to have rituals like checking the lock 7 times or flipping a light off 3 times.

None personally that I can name, but my brother has an odd habit of saying "I Wanna Go Home" whenever something upsets or frustrates him. If he gets stressed even when he's at home, he'll blurt out "I Wanna Go Home." We think he's bipolar, but he refuses to get himself tested.

I always smell glasses or cups before I use them for some reason, I also usually rinse them with water if I'm at home.

I've got another one. When I eat frosted shredded wheat for breakfast, I turn all the ones on the top over so the frosted sides are face up. Don't ask me why I do it, I have no idea.

I do that so all the sweet stuff doesn't dissolve into the milk! LOL, we would be good room mates

I like the smell of my dog's feet They smell like a movie theater.

I unplug all my portable kitchen appliances. Toaster, blender, coffee maker, can opener. I just can't tolerate them all remaining plugged when they're not in use. Don't know why.
