Ouija Boards

Have you ever used one? Do you believe they are safe and can actually assist you in speaking with the dead or do you believe they are diabolic?

One of my friends had one when I was a kid. We didn't open a vortex to Hell if that's what you mean by safe. I think they're like horoscopes. They have no value except for entertainment.

I think my cousin had one when we were kids, I don't remember playing with it though. Never seemed that interesting to me.

I'll admit, I'm kind of superstitous, I don't think I'd ever touch one, let alone participate, but I'm not above making jokes about the damn things, especially the planchette. Anybody remember 13 Ghosts? (the original, not the remake with Monk)

I don't think a piece of cardboard (or the deluxe wood one)& a plastic thingy made by Parker Brothers has any powers to do anything other than provide an hour or two of fun. I believe in the paranormal but I don't think some game manufacturing company has any inside information on opening portals. It's just entertainment.

If the Dark Prince is conspiring with Parker Bros., then we're all fucked. Whether our game was Ouija, Risk or Trivial Pursuit.

I'm a big believer in being able to be in touch with the spirits of the dead, so I have never, and will never, use a ouija board. I would be completely freaked out.

You have no way of knowing if the person you are talking to is who they say they are, or what their true character is. You have no way of knowing what is truth or lie, who has good intentions, mischievous attentions, or malicious intentions.

Unless you have been trained by someone who knows how to detect these things I would say stay far away.

You are a child looking at the real global mind and all its manifestations through it. It's like being an infant home alone and your front door is left unlocked and anybody who is wandering past on the street can come in and possibly even take over your life.

Very dangerous, and not a toy.
