    What did you do on your 18th birthday????

    I remember it because it was just a week after I started my college freshman year. Me and my best friend went to see Dickie Roberts: Former Child Star. It came out that same day.

    That's the truth. I don't really remember mine either...16 was a big year, 17 was memorable, 18, I'm drawing a blank.

    We treated it like a regular birthday to be honest. Went to a bit nicer of a restaurant and got a little bit more out of it, but yeah, pretty average.

    Nothing special for me. I had a small lil get together and then we went out to eat and that was it. 21 is the one I look forward to.

    Mine was pretty ordinary. A really fun day, but average for me, like my other birthdays. People would ask me "How does it feel to be 18?" and I was like "The same as it did when I was 17."

    Not when you're as old as Shale and me. 18 was the magic #. Not that it really mattered. I was getting served before then anyway. 18 just meant that I could be tried as an adult. As for the actual day more than 36 years ago? I have no idea either.

    Yeah that's what I remember most about turning 18, being asked how I felt about it. How was I supposed to feel? The day itself wasn't anything extraordinary, I got a icecream cake from Baskin Robbins and invite two of my friends over and I think we watched a movie on TV.
