What's your opinion of thong underwear?

Never in a million years would I ever wear them, I can't understand how having a string up your butt is supposed to be comfortable, and a report I read a while back finds that they're not particularly healthy to wear either, apparently some people who wear them suffer from anal lacerations among other things...anal lacerations, it's just like Jeff Foxworthy's bit on diet pills with the side effect anal seepage, it's not even fun to say! And as much as it's not fun to say, I can't imagine it'd be any better to have just because you don't want panty lines or whatever. Besides, it seems to me thong underwear defeats the purpose of wearing underwear because underwear is supposed to cover what you would get arrested for showing and that means both the front AND the back.

And, on a side note, as disgusting as I think they are for adults, I can't imagine the sicko who decided that they need to make them for children and little babies as well.

Thong underwear is very "in" for my generation, but I hate them! I've never actually worn one, but they just look so uncomfortable and they are way too trashy-looking if a woman were to wear them as the bottoms of a swimsuit. And hearing about anal lacerations? Ugh! Yuck! And plus, there are full-butted panties that aren't supposed to leave panty lines.

I'm very old-fashioned in many aspects, and underwear is one of them. I honestly don't see why old six-pack granny panties aren't more popular! I wear those all the time and I think they're cute!

I wear the women's briefs and on occasion the hipster underwear, nothing fancy, nothing 'in' or 'stylish' or 'hot', thank you very much, I'm very basic and usually stick with a full bodied white cotton type.

I have several. Provided that it isn't too tight, they aren't really uncomfortable. They do make you feel like you're virtually naked, and that's because you are.
