I think she's very overrated, and I don't see why she's so popular. Seems to me every role she's in is an annoying woman by some degree or another. In the book Thelma & Louise and Women in Hollywood they pointed out that for a certain span of time during the 90s, the ONLY hit movies with women leads that focused on women WERE movies made with Julia Roberts, never anyone else, so you have to wonder is it really because she's just that good (I don't think so) or is it they just didn't bother trying too hard on making movies that focus on women and have a strong female lead, made with different actresses, and just did so with her movies because there were a lot of them and it was easy to do because she was the biggest name of the time?

She's seen the pic and countered all the conventional thinkers who made issue with the fact that women DO GROW HAIR IN THEIR PITS. She even spoofed herself on another show after that pic had its 15 minutes of fame.
OH, you may have surmised by now that I love natural women.

She's OK but there is something about her that's too Hollywood "establishment" for my taste. Feels as though her movies are made for Ebert and Roper to give a positive review to.

She's alright I guess, but I don't really have an opinion of her. I think she needs to play darker roles, she's done the perky charmer thing too much.

I really like her as an actress. I feel like she has a very distinct look, but can pull off characters very well.

I can't say anything against her, and can watch her films and enjoy them for what they are, but she isn't a 'must see' for either.
