Who remembers these guys?
Jim Henson had some great ideas with The Muppet Movie, The Great Muppet Caper, The Muppets Take Manhattan, and even after he died his son Brian did a good job following after him, I thought, with Muppet Treasure Island and even A Muppet Christmas Carol. Then there was Muppets from Space, which was okay, nothing great, but then the new movie came out, A Very Merry Muppet Christmas, and the magic, that Henson spark, was just gone, and from there to the Muppet Wizard of Oz to whatever they've done recently...it really breaks my heart that any Muppet movie coming out now is nothing must-see but rather must-avoid-at-all-costs. I think Jim Henson, like Walt Disney, if he knew what had become of all his hard work and his legacy, he'd be spinning 360s in his grave.
How about everyone else? Which of the movies are your favorites?
