well - it would seem that my OLTL days are numbered. At the very latest, Trevor's last day will be mine, if I last that long.

ITA Tony - and it will serve OLTL right of RH gets another offer and is gone before you can blink, following his usual pattern, or if he starts with the tantrums and immaturity. It'll be such a change from the professional that Trevor St. John is. Looks like I'll be back to hating Todd soon, if TPTB recast him as Todd.

Oh well - I'm enjoying Y&R right now. Cutting OLTL won't be that hard if there's no Trevor. He'll move on to bigger and better things and to writers and producers that appreciate his talent.

Why? If a paycheck was what he cared about, he'd be back already. The fact that he isn't shows to me that he isn't going to just be a good little puppy and bark for Fronsie.

FM if they are going to recast him as Todd they can't just thrust him in just like that, they have to prepare a storyline that would explain why we suddenly have this trashy, dull, unattractive Todd back again. If it is set in stone and he has signed a contract, he is indeed on the payroll and we won't see him until storylines are set up for him as they are doing now.

TSJ I will never stop watching because my main person is Viki, when she goes I will go too. I will be livid if they bring RH back as Todd. Writing letters and e-mailing the studio does nothing, when Frons has his mind made up thats it, dosen't matter what the fans want. From what I have seen there are a lot of TSJ fans out there that are pretty upset about this possibility happening.

Unfortunately you're right Tony. The studio has a pretty thick skin and is largely apathetic to viewer outrage as a result of their casting/story decisions. They figure 'let them throw their temper tantrums, they'll soon get over it.'

Well they have not thrust him on us as of yet, just subtle hints so far, the scene is already being set up, the blair portrait, the balloon wedding, Todd's mysterious phone calls, it won't be long. How do we know he didn't come running, I have been hearing of his return since last August? He is not exactly a hot commodity out there in soap land, only Former RH Todd fans seem to think he is a big deal, when he was on ATWT you hardly ever heard of him as Paul, Luke and Noah had more fan and media attention then he did.

^^^^We'd have heard if he eagerly signed a contract. The problem with these subtle hints is that they all seem to be easily seeing what we want to see. For all the talk of the stage being set, the necessity of keeping TSJ as Todd seems to be more imperative than ever.

And Todd receiving mysterious phone calls doesn't seem to signal anything other than that he is involved in something shady, which doesn't equal RH.

The actress that plays Dani already let the cat out of the bag a couple of weeks ago on one of her social pages and ABC had her pull it off but too late before too many people saw it.

Thats just it, we would not have heard a thing if ABC wanted to keep it under lock and Key, I was just hearing rumors but with all the subtle hints and Dani confirming that he is coming back, well to me that says its coming.

I hope I am wrong but I don't think I am.

Even if he is coming, he'll be gone quickly. Stunt castings always blow up in their faces.

To be honest, I just didn't care that much for RH's acting style. I tried watching ATWT and he drove me crazy on these. I couldn't get into the storylines and betwen Carly and Paul, I just couldn't stick around. The radical die-hard RH fans will be rejoicing, but they don't seem to realize that Trevor may take many fans with him if he leaves, and that won't be good for OLTL. Years back, I was a huge fan of Chad's Brannon's Zander Smith. GH decided they wanted to let Zander go and that they wanted to pimp Nikolas and Emily. In the process, they totally ruined Sleeping Beauty and they killed or desroyed something like 16 or 17 characters in order to pimp and prop Num. During Chad's last week, GH was sitting at around 3.4 in ratings. The week after he left, when Zander was killed of, GH plummeted to what was then, their lowest ratings ever, I think - 2.9. GH never recovered. The interesting thing is, when they realized how outraged fans were, they brought Chad back for a few weeks, as Zander's death would have happened just prior to them heading into sweeps and they knew how outraged many fans were and that many of us were quitting. They brought him back for sweeps, but couldn't keep the viewers and it got to the point where 2.9 was a dreamed of high, while they'd consistantly been around 3.3-3.5 while Chad was on.

I wish OLTL the same luck as GH, should they chose to oust Trevor and replace Todd with RH. I'd love to see OLTL plummet to last place!!!!!

^^^^They would plummet. First they'd loose the TSJ fans and then they'd loose the RH ones when he left again.
