I saw 2 young girls walking down the street wearing skinny jeans. They both had a butt spread of about 1 hand and both had legs as thin as breadsticks. Why would you wear those type of jeans, it looked quite comical to me? Is this what is considered attractive amongst the younger generation?

They think anything that shows off their 'assets' is a good thing. When I was a teenager I went a few times to this club where the kids could come in and play pool and video games, and every time I went most of the girls who looked 10, maybe 12, had THE shortest shorts on possible and they were bending over to shoot pool.

The worst is guys who wear skinny jeans. When I was a teenager, tight jeans on a dude would have been enough to get him royally clowned by onlookers.

Assets? That hardly looked like attractive assets to me, they both looked like they belonged in the circus, I found that to be most unattractive on both of them.

There are guys that wear them too, mostly teens and they look equally as bizarre as the two girls I saw. I don't know something about a guy that has skinny legs like that way to comical to see.

Always thought tight jeans would be hell on your circulation. I like mine to be loose fit.

Yeah skinny/slim jeans are the 'in' thing now; thankfully I didn't come up in this generation (although I am seeing some guys my age jump on this trend.) I like my pants comfortably roomy too.

I don't care for skinny jeans...But I'm resigned to the fact that if you're old enough to remember a trend the first time, then you're too old for it the second time so I chalk it up to that...
I really want bell bottoms to come back in for a third time, but then if I apply my rule I wouldn't be able to pull them off anyway...At least my they wouldn't make my thighs look ginormous though...Skinny jeans + pear shape = bleck

LOL well lets see, I held up my hand as they were walking by and kind of measured as they were walking ahead, I pulled a little to the left and then the right and up and down and determined that they had a 1 hand butt spread.

Yes, skinny jeans are definitely "in" among the young generations. About the girls being skinny, I think my generation and today's teen generation are much too obsessed with thinness. I think it's wrong for parents to let their daughters wear anything that's too revealing at a young age.

On the contrary, you really shouldn't be 'skinny' to wear skinny jeans. They look ten times better on women who can fill them out. About the guys wearing them......no comment. Women can't even buy skinny jeans anymore on the account of the guys buying them all up. And then busting that disgusting sag WITH skinny jeans. *shaking my head*
