I'm not particularly a big fan of wolfman movies, that said, I like the original, have not seen the remake that was done last year and don't plan to ever see it. I just have no faith in horror remakes, I haven't seen a single good one since the 1990 remake of Night of the Living Dead, that's a long time to go without a single success.
A big problem is the older movies leave so much in shadow or it's implied and we have to imagine what's going on and what we can think of is usually scarier than anything we can see, but today's movies insist on dragging EVERYthing out for us to see and leave nothing to the imagination...it's like it's only the anticipation of the bang, not the bang itself that's suspenseful, not being able to see what's going on is scarier when we're left to imagine what's happening than actually seeing it generally.
What's everyone else think of the movies?
