| I don't get what the point is of re-enacting the Civil War, that's just stupid. And they lost, for God's sake! I think it's some sort of depraved wish to have things as they were back then. They can't stand it that the they don't have their slaves or plantations anymore. It's fair to say I have a dislike for the south. | |

| I always saw it as a way for the South to underhandedly glorify and cling to it's old traditions, under the mask of it seeming like they're just honoring history. Like "even though we lost....we fought the good fight and are PROUD of how our ancestors lived." | |
