Not really. I don't go there specifically. I might wander if it's in a strip mall that I happen to be shopping at, just to see what they have. I don't think I've ever bought anything from there.

I used to think that just about anything in there was awesome. I think my tastes have evolved. Not to say they sell all crap, but it is overpriced for the level of quality you take home from there. I would rather get comparable items for less at World Market.

Tony, I don't really either. It is a half hour away. But every time I am in that city, I have to stop!

Re: Pier 1 Import
I shopped there in the '70s. It was the place to get mugs with psychedelic patterns on them, or a little brass water pipe from India. Also all those India print spreads that were so popular in crash pads in New Orleans.Chris wrote: Are you a fan of Pier 1 Import? Do you shop there?
Yeah, I haven't shopped there since the '70s when we were into all that Indian stuff.RedBedroom wrote:I used to think that just about anything in there was awesome. I think my tastes have evolved. ....

Re: Pier 1 Import
All I ever really do there is browse, haven't ever made a purchase. Also a few years ago they shut down the one nearest to me, so now I don't really know where any are. They are an okay store but a little too cheap and "glassy" on the inside.
