Hi Everyone,

Has anyone seen this movie? It's a true story about a woman who is falsely accused of murder and is sent to the gas chamber. Susan Hayward stars in it, and wow, what an actress! It's a shame she's not more well known today. Her role as Barbara Graham won her a well-deserved Oscar.

Thoughts? Opinions?

I've seen bits and pieces of it, never managed to catch the whole thing, but from what I have seen I like it.

I have seen it and as recently as last week when TCM was running Oscar winners. I don't recall the movie using her last words, "Good people are always so sure they're right." They did get part of it pretty close. As executioner Joe Feretti strapped her into the chair, he said to her, "Now take a deep breath and it won't bother you." Barbara retorted, "How in the hell would you know?"

Mandy, I mentioned In Cold Blood earlier. If you liked I Want To Live, you might like that too.

Yes I have seen it and its a great movie!!! Susan Hayward was outstanding in it.
