Hell yes I would like to be famous! Preferably for something good. As long as it wasn't me being murdered or something. I am an attention hog. I don't go after it, but when it occasionally hits, I bask in it.

I guess there are degrees of fame, some merely the Warhol figurative "15 minutes" (or less).
I have had a few magazine articles published and fotos. One nudist article with a very popular foto was picked up in Europe and I have been translated into Dutch. Some of my written blurbs about nudism have been translated into many languages by The Naturist Society and put on the Web under 205 Reasons for Naturism.
I show up for a page or two on Yahoo search (less so on Google) and have some small books in the Florida Room of the Miami-Dade County Public Library for local writers. That's about the extent of my "fame."

I don't want or need fame and if I'm rich, the fewer people who knew me the better. When I win the lottery (and I will win someday) I don't want any 2nd and 3rd cousins showing up because they saw me with the big plastic check on TV.

No interest in being famous but I agree with those who said the money would be nice. I'd love to pay off all my debts and my family's debts and ensure that none of us have to worry about finances ever again. I'd quit work and take time off to volunteer at my friend's organization in Uganda.

When I was younger I would have embraced fame, but now I would largely shy away from it. I'd prefer success and notoriety in the field, without being commercially known.
