    Gremlins! Empty Gremlins!

Post by Supernova Wed Mar 09, 2011 2:30 am

Ooooh I LOVE the little Gremlins, I started reading the novelization of the first movie a couple days ago and it hit me, as a kid I LOVED the Gremlins movies, I waited SO many years to see the sequel, even before I'd seen the original, and I haven't seen either of them for YEARS! I can't believe it, I just can't believe it, those were great movies, I LOVED them!

And on a side note, has anybody else noticed how they're NEVER on TV anymore? Plenty other 80s/90s movies yes, some great, some good, some bad, but never Gremlins 1 or 2: The New Batch, why is that?

I can only take the first movie. Loved it as a kid....and my grandma gave me Gremlins doll when I was like 5 that my mother hated because it was so ugly.

I love these movies, they were funny, of course the first one was more horror than the second one was, but they were great. What's interesting about the second movie is on the video tape when the Gremlins sabotage the movie, it's up to John Wayne to defeat them and get the movie in working order again, on the DVD and when it was in theaters, it was Hulk Hogan, between the two I still prefer the Duke taking on the 3 Gremlins desparados. laughing
