It irritates me how everyone is acting like their hands are tied where Tess is concerned, and that Ford is the only one who has any legal authority over Jessica. With her history of mental illness, and breaking the law (which includes attempted murder), it wouldn't take much to get a judge to be compelled to have her made ward of the state and committed, despite Ford's say so.

Chris as the watching audience we are supposed to be stupid and not know these things according to the writers don't you know that by now? The writers have actually insulted our intelligence many times over and they don't want us to think logically.

Yep. They're under the impression that we're all sheep that will go wherever they lead us.

Frons as much as stated that awhile back - that the audience needed to be trained on how to view things, implying that we're mindless idiots with the brain cells of some of his characters.
