What are some (required) classes/courses in college that you feel you would have been better off *not* taking and/or felt were a waste of time and money?

Both math courses: I had the same professor. And while she was quite brilliant, she could not understand our questions due to the language barrier. And if we took her mathematical concepts to other people, they couldn't understand them. I think that if you're going to require a math course, maybe a lesson in doing your taxes would have been more appropriate.

Biology: What. The. Hell. It was taught by a 5th grade teacher who used to make us draw our own animals with superpowers and do puzzles-- bear it mind that this was a night course during the Summer... yes. That's what I want to be doing during the Summer in the evening. Stupid little classroom projects suitable for 5th graders.

For me, Economics...What the hell does a Forensics major need to know about the damn economy...don't make a lick of sense to me! Put me in chemistry or biology anyday but business classes are for the birds

All music classes (I was an accounting major). Plus a myriad of general education classes.

I tried to tailor my education towards my major. So I would take classes like geography thinking it would be important to know about the world.

One class I was considering taking was anthropology of religion, what a waste. Glad I passed on it.

I only had one math requirement and got that out of the way with a logic course.

Math. Maybe not useless....but it's a required course, despite it having nothing to do with my major. It's fucking me up big time. I haven't had a math class since the 10th grade, because here in Mich., it's only required that high schoolers take 2 years of math. When I was done with what I had to do, I never took another math course again....little did I know 15 years later it would haunt me.
