    Oh gosh, mine was Doogie Howser or Davey Jones from The Monkee's, I don't remember which was first but I do know I wrote a ton of letters to the fan club address on the back of my Monkee's record...Then one day the grown up Davey Jones was a guest star on a sitcom and he was like 55 and I was 12 and I realized it wasn't meant to be. Little did I know Doogie Howser was an impossible dream too.

    Probably six or seven when I began to get an inkling of opposite sex attraction, eight or nine when it began to expand. From the age of 10 on up, it (and other things) grew like a weed.

    I used to imagine myself as the girl he brought on stage with him in his "Roni" concert music video, doing the pelvic grind dance with @ 4.50.

    From there, it wasn't a huge jump to the boys who were actually in eye shot. I recall being in the fifth grade, and there being a lot of petty-but-heavy flirting between the boys and girls. By the sixth grade, it was all in place. I had my first boyfriend that year.
