  • Actor Brian Kerwin, Llanview’s Charlie Banks, is out! The actor, who joined
    the show back in 2007, will be written out and will depart in early spring. ABC
    is not planning on recasting the role.

  • A new character named Deanna, played by Nafessa Williams, will begin
    appearing on Wednesday, March 23. She will play a character from James’ past and
    will spy on him and Starr.

  • John Wesley Shipp, who played Eddie Ford, the abusive father of the Ford
    brothers, will be back briefly on canvas. His appearance will most likely be in
    flashbacks as his real murderer is finally revealed.

  • Look for a big announcement from ABC Daytime in the coming weeks regarding
    their daytime line-up. Sources are reporting that a major decision will be made
    regarding the future of One Life to Live and All My Children, and
    a possible cancellation of one of these soaps in order to make way for some new
    projects ABC has been planning. Although ABC relocated AMC from New York City to
    Los Angeles, the show has reportedly remained over budget. This fact may be in
    OLTL’s favor since it has managed to stay within its budget consistently.
    However, let’s just hope ABC decides to keep all three, as any cancellation
    would not be good news.
