Anybody remember this movie from the 70s with David Bowie? Confusing as HELL movie, from a likewise confusing as hell book, neither ends well but for obvious (if you've seen the movie and know how it ends) reasons I prefer the film's version. Somehow I almost feel safe in assuming we won't have to worry about that one being remade again anytime soon.

I saw it when it was in the theater so it's been a long time. Kind of sad. I would put this on the "Anti-movies to watch on a lazy Saturday afternoon" list I've never read the novel.

You know, and I'm sure people ask this of every story every author ever wrote, but I wonder whatever gave Walter Tevis the idea he had to write the novel in the first place.
