I'm thinking 12 is old enough to be tried as an adult because by then they know right from wrong.

At what age do you think a child ought to be tried as an adult?

Idk, they may know right from wrong but there is a reason that we don't want 12 year olds to be parents or drive a car too. They don't have the same reasoning skills or impulse control as an adult does, so it's hard to hold them to the same standards.
I think it just depends on the crime, but I'd be closer to 16 than 12 more often than not if I had to guess an age where I'd think it was okay for them to be able to face the death penalty or life in prison.

I think it depends on the crime to be honest.

If it's murder/manslaughter, and they're over 10 years old, they should be tried as an adult.
