    I'm having nose surgery on Monday. It's a septoplasty which is being done to correct sinus/breathing problems by straightening my septum. I'm going to have internal plastic splints in my nose for two weeks. I'm a bit scared about the surgery because I have never had one and I'm worried about pain.

    big hugz I'm sure everything will be fine and you'll soon be glad you did it. I've been lucky enough to only have my tonsils taken out and four bony impacted wisdom teeth. Sorry, can't tell you what to expect from a septoplasty. Please let us know how it goes.

    You should be fine. One pointer is take your pain meds on time. Don't let the pain get out of control and then try and and catch up on the pain.

    Hope it goes well. Never had surgery. Unless you count my tonsils being taken out.

    It's natural to be nervous about surgery and won't be a fun ordeal but when you're healed, you will be very glad you did and you're breathing will be much more easy. The ends will very much justify the means. I'm happy for you, good luck!

    I had surgery last year to repair my broken ankle. I had screws put in and afterwards believe it or not the pain was not that bad. I took pain meds only a couple of times because I didn't need it. You will be fine.

    My surgery got delayed. I got sick yesterday because a health condition I have and I contacted the surgeon yesterday and he canceled the surgery. I might have surgery within a month or two.

    I'm sure that when you have it, you'll be fine. Tell them your nervous right when you get there and the anesthesiologist with give you something to calm your nerves before they put you to sleep. Then they'll tell you to count backwards from a hundred and you'll get to like, 97. Then you'll wake up and it will be over. Tell them about any pain that you have and they'll take care of you Smile I've had a few different surgeries.
