I love my vinyl. I have over 10,000 records and I play records all of the time, but I admit, I love my Ipod.

Cd quality has the most superior sound of them all but i cant imagine going back to discmans instead of using my iPod, so i guess mp3.

I don't play my vinyl collection anymore, I prefer CD's and in MP3 Format because you can fit a lot more on a CD.

CDs. I have an iPod, a iTunes account and download MP3's, simply because that's just the way it's done today...but I preferred the CD era. Buying a download is a lot less exhilarating in 2011 than buying a CD was back in 1994.

I'm pretty much a product of the MP3 age now. I like CD's but I rarely buy them anymore. Ironically enough, I still need to have a CD player in my car.

Vinyl, which I find has the richest sound experience.
But I also do love mp3s and digital media-- I just need to have a hard copy (CD, cassette, vinyl) on hand.

For collection purposes, vinyls and cds. Cassettes were a tacky innovation and I don't miss them. The mp3 format is a lazy mans innovation, one that exists solely for convenience as opposed to quality.

Re: Your preferred music format.
I begrudgingly accept that my iPod and is more convenient and buy MP3's, and so that's what I deal with today primarily, but CDs are superior.
