    Do you have a preference when it comes to male vs. female servants in restaurants....or notice any significant difference between the two, as far as service goes?

    No preference but I find the females a bit more efficient and attentive than the males.

    We're servers, not servants.

    And yes, there's a difference. Male servers tend to get better tips even if they don't do a better job.

    Nope. Do a good job and you'll get a tip. Do a bad job and you gets nada. I don't discriminate based on gender.

    I have no preference. I have had great service from men and woman. I do seem to notice that woman put more effort in to particulars than a man. But that's not the guys fault. Over the years, I have noticed as a race than woman notice more particulars than men. I do know when I was waitressing, I made great tips.
