    pissed

I made the mistake of leaving my car window slightly ajar and this morning when I got in my car for work, a bee was inside and stung my wrist. I killed the little fucker after, but damn did it hurt. I haven't been bee stung since I was a teenager and forgot just how much it pains.

Sorry to hear that. I have managed to go my whole life without being stung by a bee until last year, and it was really dirty how it got me, I was in the pool and wearing one of those suits with a scoop back or whatever you call it, and it got in the suit and stung me right below my shoulder blade where I couldn't reach it and it STUNG.

I got stung by a bee once on my ankle while I was on the train!!! I felt something like little pinches and I lifed the pants up and a bee flew out! My ankle swelled up and I ended up in the doctor's office having to get the stinger pulled out and a shot of something for the swelling.

Actually, you did the bee a favor and kept her from a suffering slow death.
Once they let loose their sting it's all over - they have one sting and it's connected to their innards so they are mortally wounded when wounding others.
Sorta poetic in a way - tho I'm sure your poetry of the moment was not so serene.

You should try tooling down the highway at 65 MPH on a motorcycle and have one fly into your shirt. It was a wasp, not a bee (they get more than one sting).

I haven't been stung by a bee since I was a kid. I have an uncle who is allergic to the stings. He got stung by some yellowjackets when he was younger and almost died. I have another uncle who is just deathly afraid of them. He will air fight a bee and get the hell out of dodge if any came around.

Aww, sorry Cat! Hope there are no lasting effects. Good thing you're not alergic! BTW, how's that big old bump on your waist doing? big grin

Aww sad I"m sorry to hear that. I usually start carrying AfterBite in my person around May or so when the bees start to come out. I hope it's not too painful for you.
