Have you ever known someone who always insisted that they were sick, or thought they were sicker than they were?

I used to be one. Not like that but when I was 13 and so, I always thought I was dying from something, always thought I was having a heart attack, blood poisoning, etc. Now my brother's a real hypochondirac, you can't say around him that you have ANYTHING otherwise he'll suddenly get it too.

Yes I know two such people that can really get on your nerves with all their imaginary sickness. One guy I know so far has had: Diabetes twice, Prostate Cancer twice, an intestinal blockage, bladder cancer, colon cancer and the gout. He goes for all these medical exams and he is healthy as an ox. I think he gets off on medical exams, he just likes to have them done to him.

Not quite, but I've seen some splashes of it in old people.
