    The scenes with Rex freaking out when Jack and Blaire came to see Shane were TOTALLY ruined by JPL's over the top acting. Once again, what should have been powerful was made corny and overdone. Once again, Rex came off far too cartoonish for me to take that scenes seriously. Dialogue was good, Blaire and Jack were fine, but JPL played Rex in such a way that I ended up smirking instead of feeling something. JPL needs to really tone things down, because he's killing this storyline for me.
