One Life to Live Scoops & Spoilers
Previews for the week of 26-Apr-2010
    by Carol Banks Weber

    • John takes up the Marty matter with Todd.

    • Danielle throws herself in the high school musical rehearsals. But the material gets to her, especially the part about Todd.

    • The wrong person spots Langston stepping out on Markko.

    • Destiny gossips with Matthew about having caught Langston all up in Ford’s grill. Meanwhile, Markko’s video camera is on and capturing this entire private conversation.

    • Bo gives Matthew some helpful tips.

    • Natalie takes a shot at waving the white flag with Marty.

    • Marty can’t hear what Natalie and Brody have to say; it’s all too much. They have to leave.

    • Maybe Natalie and Todd had nothing to do with Marty’s fall, but an unknown, sinister new villain.

    • Blair and Tea go over what they know of Todd and Marty’s history. They are in consensus that, with Todd, the shoving of Marty is possible.

    • Hannah leans in for a better listen as Cole points out to Starr that it’s Todd who did this to his mom.

    • Cole can think of nothing but wiping Todd out.

    • Starr and Cole disagree about Todd to the point where it’ll wear on their pairing.

    • Starr makes sure about Todd by asking her dad to promise he didn’t do what they say he did to Marty.

    • Of course, Todd swears he’s innocent of all charges, other than just arguing with that woman.

    • Starr affirms Todd as innocent, which gives him relief.

    • John passes on evidence in Marty’s case to Brody to check out: fibers from whatever the perpetrator wore.

    • Hannah corroborates that Todd was the one who shoved Marty down those flight of stairs.

    • Todd says Hannah’s out of her mind and doesn’t know what she’s talking about, which only ticks Cole off more.

    • Cole corners Todd then puts a world of hurt on him.

    • Blair, Tea, Danielle, Starr and a group of nuns just stand around and gawk as Cole pummels Todd into unconsciousness—without any of them lifting a finger to stop it.

    • Before Markko can ascertain Langston’s cheating on him with Ford, he’s waylaid by a fight breaking out with Cole and Todd.

    • Only after the beating is sufficient enough for Cole, do the women converge on Todd’s prone body. Blair and Starr accompany Todd on the way to ER.

    • Danielle tags along with Tea on the way to the hospital, which is somewhat of a surprise.

    • Dr. Gangemi examines Todd and preps him for surgery, giving a dire diagnosis.

    • Blair plants herself by Todd, doing all she can to help the man back to health.

    • Natalie expects John to take back his accusations and make amends for falsely believing her to have harmed Marty. She’s got a long wait.

    • Starr notifies Cole of what he did to Todd and its long-lasting, possibly fatal effects.

    • Cole’s sociopathic coldness turns Starr off.

    • Blair, Tea and Danielle make scared faces as Dr. Gangemi and the nurses run Code Blue for Todd.

    • While Todd’s heart gives out and the doctors feverishly work on saving him, he experiences an out-of-body bad dream to end all bad dreams.

    • John has Brody fetch Cole and Hannah for the usual inquisition.

    • The cops are brought on to apprehend Cole for assault. And maybe murder if Todd goes down.

    • John grills Hannah about what she claimed.

    • Nora gives Marty her word that she will make Todd pay.

    • Nora champions Cole in this case against Todd.

    • Marty backs Cole 100 percent.

    • Tea automatically takes up for Todd, as his official counsel.

    • Alas, nothing Tea says—even if it’s Academy-award-winning—makes a dent in stoic John, who ensures his suspect doesn’t escape, even from a hospital bed. Really, officer, are the handcuffs necessary?

    • Todd asks Starr to please give his story the serious consideration it deserves.

    • Blair reminds Todd that if he really did shove Marty, he’s in big trouble.

    • Danielle doesn’t know quite what to make of this entire situation, or her mom’s involvement as Todd’s attorney.

    • Viki takes care that Dani is okay.

    • Kelly retrieves John, following the discovery of a murdered Rodney.

    • John looks over Rodney. But he’s unable to call it murder from the evidence so far.

    • John and Kelly deduce that Rodney had been done in somehow and by the same guy who put Melinda out of commission.

    • Dorian gets real scared about Kelly being killed off and hires Shaun as a bodyguard.

    • A cutie who is familiar with Kelly returns, hoping for a remake.

    • Kelly drives Blair to the brink of crazy.

    • Viki and Gigi shoot the breeze. Viki gives Gigi the thumbs-up on Rex.

    • Bo and Rex chew the fat. Bo advances the notion of Rex trying again with Gigi.

    • Charlie puts forward to Jessica that it’s fine to at least give Brody a chance and be his prom date.

    • Cristian treats Layla to a nice night together. But it’s a little too nice, ‘cause she starts hearing wedding bells.

    • When Jessica sees Cris and Layla lovey-dovey, she then gives Brody a try.

    • Viki and Charlie revel in their renewed relationship.

    • Next week: Starr puts Hannah firmly in her place… Starr and Cole continue to be at opposite ends… Todd and Starr brainstorm the meaning of this… The medical prognosis for Tea is grim and a revelation… Somehow, Blair gets a hold of Tea’s prognosis, which puts the two enemies together as friends over this secret… Tea’s condition worsens considering Danielle hasn’t gotten closer to her dad, Todd… Todd keeps pushing Danielle, determined to be a part of her life… Marty has a bone to pick with Todd… Dorian looks twice at Kelly, something’s up… Reed plants a kiss on Kelly, as familiars, and asks her out… Nora takes Cole under her wing and becomes his champion.

Wow thanks for the spoilers Chris, some good stuff happening! I assume most of this will lead to may sweeps. I like the way Johnny assumes that the fibers he found are from the person that pushed Marty, how many people come and go up and down those stairs??

I hate the fact they blame Todd for everything and Cole beating up on him I guess is a long time coming, mounting frustrations from all the picking Todd did on him.

Johnny wants Todd handcuffed to the bed but yet, Mitch Lawrence was in the hospital, not handcuffed to the bed and even managed to contact the outside world and he is a known killer but yet, Todd, not proven to have pushed Marty, is already booking for the crime. Unbeliveable, I hate Johnny!

That 'Cole beating Todd to a pulp' jazz better come with him carrying a blade or a glock, otherwise I'm calling bullshit on it.
