Kids (1995)

Have you seen Kids? I remember when it was released, it was very controversial; reason being because it wasn't too far fetched from reality. I have it on VHS around here (recorded from cable a decade ago), but haven't watched it in a long time. Apparently the gritty lifestyle of the kid characters in the film was true of its stars, because a few of them died after hard knock living.

Yeah, I've seen it before. That was Rosario Dawson's first role. I remember thinking it was an decent movie. Pretty gritty.
