| I usually don't eat much meat, but for the past two months or so I've been craving steak. I've went out and had about 3 or 4 steaks. Of course I started with a well done one, then ventured to medium well.
Medium well is much better. Since medium well is so much better than well done, I'm tempted to try a medium.
How do you like yours?

| I'm in the other direction. Don't like it cooked beyond medium rare. | |

| Medium rare. I don't care for burnt meat, but am not interested in blood coming out of my food either. | |

| WELL DONE. For the life of me, I will never understand why people would want any part of their food/meat uncooked. Pink meat? Hell to the nah. | |

See, now I don't understand why people like their food served to resemble shoe leather. Pink is fine, not red. It's said of Gen. Ulysses S. Grant, - Quote :
- Although he witnessed some of the bloodiest battles in history, Grant could not stand the sight of blood. Rare steak nauseated him and he was known to cook his meat to the point of charring.

Well done does not mean burnt. It means that all of the meat is cooked. Even if it's barely cooked, it's still cooked. If you know what you're doing, you can have a well done steak that still comes out very juicy and tender. Pink means the meat ain't cooked thoroughly or it's undercooked. Half cooked and half not cooked? Meh.

| Medium-rare or medium. Anything cooked more than that isn't worth it, to me. I like my burgers the same way.
I like lots of uncooked foods. Sushi. Steak or tuna tartar. YUM!

| Medium well - slightly pink on the inside - but I learned to ask for well done in restaurants, as their idea of medium well is my idea of rare. I don't want it seared on the outside and bright pink on the inside. I want it cooked and only slightly pink on the inside. | |

Too funny! That comment could go in different directions than talking about how you like your steak! I like my steak the same way. Well done is just too hard and chewy but I don't like blood pouring out of it either.
