New York's only soap One Life To Live CANCELLED

Yesterday Brian Fron's President of Daytime TV at ABC cancelled One
Life To Live, New York's only soap and devastated not only the fans, the
actors and crew, New york's economy but also the soap genre in general.
One Life To Live will end it's 42 year run in January 2012 and he
single handedly has brought about the end of an era.
No more Victoria Lord or Bo Buchanan? Dorian ad David? Nora Hannon
Gannon Buchanan? My heart is breaking and the reason I could not write
this yesterday. I was so upset I reintroduced y petition to Oprah
Winfrey asking this phenomenal woman to give us a Soap Channel on OWN.http://www.ipetitions.com/petition/soapsonownsignatures/
Right now she seems to be our only hope and since she is a soap fan and
has benefited by soap lovers tuning in to her show all these years the
natural progression should be for her to give the soaps a new life.
On top this, All My Children was also cancelled and will end this
September. A day without Michael E Kinight is unthinkable. General
Hospital is "safe for now" says Mr. Frons who cannot be trusted because
he lies as easily as most of us breathe, so if you don't want to lose
another soap and want to Save OLTL and AMC please sign my petition and
go to Facebook and join the 'Save One Life To Live and All My Children' and 'Save Our Soaps 2010' page and any other pages dedicated to "Saving Our Soaps. Join my 'Soapbuds' on my 'Soap Savers Inc.' page and the more people who join us will make us stronger.
I must say yesterday I was sick at heart and fighting mad and today I
am asking you all to join me to save these wonderful soaps and actors
who most of us have loved for 3 or 4 decades. Are we going to lose a
whole genre because of the greed and mismanagement of these clueless men
and women who say we need another talk show or two. They already have
the replacements "Chew" and "Revolution" a food show and another show
that is going to tell us how to live our lives. Thanks ABC you are the
know it all of Daytime television NOT!!!
