Very cool experience today

To preface this, I need to say that something I say all the time is "You're my favorite."

So, today I helped a young teen girl, with Down Syndrome, at the dollar store in the craft stuff area. She was asking about painting a wooden box, and she was confused on watercolor paints vs. craft paint. So, I explained it all to her, and she was so happy after she understood that she needed craft paint because it is thicker.

She thanked me one final time, and said, "You're my favorite." Ah, that was just so cool. I saw her when she met back up with her mom, who went through the girl's basket to remove some things. When they got to the craft paint, she told her mom, "We need this because it is thicker." She was just so sweet, and made my day!

That does sound like a cool experience, Red. Always nice to help someone out, especially when they're appreciative, special needs or not.
