"I told you so" is sometimes so friggin sweet!

I don't rub it in faces when I have a good, "I told you so." But in business, when it happens it is so friggin' sweet. And I have one tonight, and I am just so happy.

Long story short, a group of five wealthy retired men are collectively out of a lot of cash, and would not have been had they listened to me four years ago, and I am so thrilled at the news.

So, personal, or professional, how thrilled are you when you can tell someone you "told" them?

Strange, I mostly feel guilty, because I knew what was going to happen, and I have the feeling, if I had pushed it harder, perhaps, they wouldn't have had to suffer. Because "I told you so" means something bad happens (or?).

I don't give advices easily, when I do, I really mean it, and I care about this person. When this person suffers, I suffer too. It makes me angry, sad and sometimes depressed. A voice at the back of my head always tells me, "You should've pushed it harder!"

I revel in it.

It depends on how my opinion was received in the first place and how serious the consequences turned out to be. I wouldn't actually say "I told you so" but I might not be able to resist shaking my head sadly and saying, "Gee, that's a damn shame."

The best is when you don't actually have to say it, you can just give the 'I Tole You So' smirk.

Actually just the knowledge that I know the other person is thinking, "Gee, she tried to tell me" is enough for me!

'I Told You So' is always sweet.
