    Not a topic that I've seen discussed here before, I'm hoping there are some people here like me who find the overall franchise to be uninteresting. I was never able to figure out WHAT the appeal of those movies are, I managed to sit through Goldfinger and was not impressed. And furthermore, I don't see why the people at Spike or whatever other channels run the marathons, decide TO have the marathons at Christmastime every year, what's up with that?

    Anybody else feel that the legacy of 007 is more like a dud than a bombshell?

    I kind of lost interest after Sean Connery. I think Daniel Craig has done OK. Maybe it's a generational thing but Goldfinger is my favorite.
