I'm on the fence with this. I do for the most part, but sometimes it can be a bit much or a little embarrassing. I do not like candid photos at all. Though I take them all the time of people.

I like pleasant surprises. Like rolling out of bed on a Saturday morning thinking you have to go to work and then remembering what day it is. Like channel surfing and finding a good movie you haven't seen in a while just about to start. I'd rather people didn't take candid pictures of me while I'm yawning or scratching myself but don't care otherwise. I've had one surprise party in my life - my bachelor party. had a pretty good time from what I remember.

For the most part I don't. I wouldn't too much care for coming home to a surprise birthday party. The only surprises I find tolerable are those that are very light and fleeting.
