The Facts of Life

Were you a fan of The Facts of Life? I was. I remember when it used to air on NBC, Saturday nights at 8 pm.

Yep. Loved it. I also thought Jo was kinda stank but I still liked her though.

Yeah I used to watch it. I hated that first season with all those extra girls, and I wasn't that fond of the last 2 seasons with Cloris Leachmen.

I remember when it came on Nick @ Nite about 10 or 11 years ago, I liked it, I loved it when Jo came on, I liked her.

LOVED this show. The theme song, I think, was the first I ever memorized.

Used to be one of my favorite shows. Then (like Diff'rent Strokes) the local stations stopped playing it, and I went like a decade without seeing the show at all....then when one of the cable networks aired it again, it just wasn't the same. Suddenly it was corny.

Anybody notice the difference in Blair the very first season? She was brassier and meaner than she was later on.

Love this show! Seasons 1 and 3 are my favorites.

According to the shows E! True Hollywood Story, the Blair character was originally supposed to be a sassy, tough talking girl from Texas. During the audition, though, Lisa Whelchel delivered a line in a very stuck up sounding way and they wound up rewriting the character around the premise of her being more of a snob. If she was brassier in the first season, it was probably while they still had the original premise in mind.

I vaguely remember it but I was pretty young at the time. I don't think I was watching much TV. I only really got into TV in my late teens.
