Busy weekend coming up and it starts this afternoon after school with a play rehersal that my daughter is in, then I bring her over to her former middle school where she's helping out with their drama production, then after that, to the dance studio for a rehersal for an all day dance tour of nursing homes/elderly housing places which happens this Sunday. Each January, the dance studio travels the area and puts on a show for the elderly at each stop, and I'm always one of the parent drivers. Tomorrow we have a chorus concert to attend at one of the middle schools' winter carnival, that my daughter is performing in, and we'll probably be shovelling snow, too, since we're getting more tomorrow, so there goes the whole weekend!

Today I am biking to the Cineplex to see my first movie of the weekend.
This is going to be a busy movie weekend for me with 4 movies I want to see and only 3 days off. If it were summer I would try to fit two in one day, but there are no early matinees, so the second movie would let out after dark - not a good ride home on a bicycle.
So, in order of how I MAY see them:
Fri - Underworld Awakening
Sat - Red Tails
Sun - Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close
Or the fourth choice, A Dangerous Method

I went out with my neighbor. Stupid choice. Ended up shooting pool with kids my step daughter graduated high school with. I am so embarrassed. However did not lose to anyone all night.
Ten years ago, I would be shit grinnin' at the money I won. Now, all I just feel old and silly. But came home with a lot more than I left with.

I was gonna go see the Ghost Rider movie but the 2-D version is not at a convenient time for me.
May go see the backup movie, This Means War, altho I glanced at the review with 1 star and a headline that said it insults intelligence. Hmmm, not a good sign.
