| Do you prefer having the windows open or keeping them shut? My brother HATES open windows, he's always going on about 'it's not THAT hot in here', well I like the breeze, I like the fresh air, and I am kind of bad about it, I will have my window open even if it's down to 35 degrees. I don't like the stifling feel of all the windows shut, and likewise when we drive somewhere, he hates when I put the windows down in the car. How about everyone else? | |

| Only when it's hot, and even then there has to be a screen. If it's under 60 degrees, then the windows stay closed. | |

Well for one thing you get to hear a lot more than you do with the windows closed.

In the summer, I put in the screens and will keep some of them open at all times (when I'm home.) But no, if it's thirty-five degrees out, there's no way the windows are going to be opened. It needs to be at least seventy out.

| What's this about putting IN the screens? I thought once in, they stayed in, at least they certainly do around here, we've never taken screens out unless we had to replace them because of hail damage. | |

| I would rather have the windows open on a warm breezy day. Sometimes in Winter I will open the windows up and let the cold air in just to refresh the house. I usually do this for about an hour then shut them. | |
