| One of my favorite B Bomb horror movies from the 50's Attack of the 50 Ft. Woman. I remember Yvette playing the luscious Honey Parker in the film. So sad.

HILLS—This week in Hollywoodland, the town remained in shock over the mummified remains believed to be those of actress Yvette Vickers, who starred in Billy Wilder’s epic film “Sunset Boulevard.” Vickers found
herself living in her Benedict Canyon home much like the character Norma Desmond in the film. However, her fate was more grave. Her body was found a week ago, apparently dead for up to a year, but our investigation into her death is just beginning.
Yvette’s bungalow was near the famous Charles Manson murder mansion Sharon Tate shared with husband director Roman Polanski on Cielo Drive. How neighbors didn’t notice her for so long may be a question to many people, but to me, her postal delivery person should have possibly noticed that no one was picking up mail that was being placed in the boxat the home in well over a year. It’s all very much cloaked in mystery, but the mystery surrounding Vicker’s death could be even more frightening, as she relayed to author and Hollywood historian John
O’Dowd that she feared several men, who she believed were stalking her and would cause harm to her.

| It sounds like she had some issues but it is so sad that she had no one in her life who cared enough about her to wonder if she was ok or to check on her. | |

Yeah and what was wrong with the neighbors, they didn't see her for awhile and just ignored it? Given her age I would have been curious after not seeing her for a week. | |
