| I depends. The big thing would be that I wouldn't readily take parenting advice from someone five years younger that is childless.

| I have not problem with that at all. A young person may have some experience I never had when I was young. We do not live exact parallel lives so they can possibly offer an experience I never had. To me it means I have to be humble and realize I do not know everything.

| It depends on their maturity level and life experience. My sister is six years younger than me, married and has a child; I'll listen to her advice because she has life experience. If this person hasn't experienced the peaks and milestones I have, and seems callow in their mindset, then I may have a hard time listening to their perspective. | |
