Do you normally wear a wrist watch? If so, what kind? Analog or digital? Is it more for fashion or function? Do you have an everyday watch and one that you only wear when you get dressed up? Does it have all sorts of bells and whistles?

I have several very nice watches. All given as gifts. But I have never been one to want to wear a watch.

    Yep.

    Analog.

    Both.

Yep. The one that I wear everyday is one I got from Macy's for like $40. It's a really cute Disney watch. I have a few of those. The really nice watch that I break out for special occasions is the Movado watch my dad gave to me a gift a couple of years ago. It's water resistant, has crystals and diamond and shit in it, leather strap, blah blah blah. I know it set him back a few.

I wear a wrist watch, analog, and have always gone for the cheap ones. In the mechanical days I would get a $13 Timex. Now there are so many off brands for $10 that is what I wear. Guess when the battery runs down I throw it away and get another.

So my watch is purely functional and not a big loss when it gets destroyed.

    co-signs

About 5 years ago I got about 5 watches for Christmas and I don't think I ever wore a single one of them. Don't need them with my cellphone.

I used to wear a wristwatch all the time, first analog, and then digital, I wore one for so long my wrist was pure white and looked like when you leave a tight bandaid on too long...not anymore, I can't stand the things, and the last one didn't even hold up in water, and I got tired of the alarm going off everyday with no permanent off button. Now I have two pocketwatches, one I got for $10 which doesn't mean much, and then the one my mom got me for Christmas which took 6 months to get, an authentic Abbott and Costello Who's On First? available to Avon reps only pocketwatch which I take out with me when I go to the theater or something and need to keep track of the time.

Wow, just checked and my cell phone and it has the time AND DATE.

Both wrong of course, so I will continue wearing my wrist watch until I can get my grandson to drive 20 miles down here to set it for me.

I watch a digital watch and it more for utility than for looks.

    You have a great day.

I wear one when I'm dressed up and going somewhere special. It completes the ensemble, and it is analogue. Digital would be tacky. However, the truth is that even when I wear it, it's just an accessory. My phone is my real watch.
