Do you believe in the concept of a 'soulmate?' If so, does is it limited to only attraction and romance? Could two platonic friends be soulmates? How about enemies?

Re: Do you believe in soulmates?
I think it is possible to have that person who is so uniquely perfectly fit into one's life that there is no better way to label it other than "soul mate". And it could be either romantic or platonic.
I think the big kicker is that true soul mates are rarer than people think, so we are too fast to think we are paired with a soul mate when we are not.

Re: Do you believe in soulmates?
The thread question said Soulmates, as opposed to "a Soulmate."
I have had two. While one only lasted 5 years, we just fell in together and during that time we had a mystical trip together.
Brenda and I lived together for most of two decades and again there was that connection on some level that made us "together."

A friend of mine brought this up a while back actually, she believes they exist and not exclusively limited to lovers but friends as well.

Re: Do you believe in soulmates?
I definitely believe that each person has their soulmate and that you can find your soulmate in anyone - lover, friend, enemy, etc. I think people can fall in love several times in their lifetime, but there's really only one person meant for each of us. It may sound mushy and old-fashioned, but I really believe it's true!

Yes. I believe there is someone in the world for every one. You may never find each other but I think they're out there.
